Coring Aspiration Thrombectomy or “CAT Pounce” Technique for Large Coronary Thrombi Resistant to Aspiration Alone

Video. Acute coronary syndrome with acute massive thrombosis of a saphenous vein graft to the obtuse marginal branch that was not responding to aspiration thrombectomy, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, and maximal pharmacotherapy including intracoronary thrombolytic therapy. Successful revascularization was achieved following the described steps of the “Cat Pounce” technique.
