Looking Back, Moving Forward: A Decade of the Journal of Clinical Pathways

As 2025 comes to a close, we proudly reflect on an extraordinary year for the Journal of Clinical Pathways (JCP)—one that not only marked our 10th anniversary but also celebrated a decade of progress in advancing value-based care through the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical pathways. This milestone year has been a time of both celebration and renewal, as we continue to strengthen our role as a trusted resource for the multidisciplinary professionals shaping the future of care delivery.

Throughout 2025, we expanded our mission in meaningful ways. We introduced new Clinical Pathways Categories, offering our readers deeper, more focused education on key areas influencing the pathways landscape—from oncology and disease management to digital innovation and real-world outcomes. These categories have allowed us to provide more structured, accessible, and practical insights to support clinical decision-making and care standardization.

At the Clinical Pathways Congress + Cancer Care Business Exchange (CPC+CBEx), we were honored to debut the Innovation Award for outstanding abstract submissions, recognizing the pioneering work of clinicians, researchers, and pathway leaders who are driving measurable improvements in patient-centered, evidence-based care. The enthusiasm and quality of this year’s submissions reflect the depth of commitment and creativity within our community, underscoring the importance of collaboration and innovation in advancing value-based care.
