We`re Back from the ACC
I'm pleased to welcome two new editorial board members to our Consulting Editors panel: Gerard Lagasse, RCIS, and Sandy Watson, RN, BSN. You may recall Gerry's September 2001 article explaining his facility’s successful experience with cath lab professionals performing percutaneous sticks. Gerry brings years of experience to our pages as well as a strong belief in the abilities of cath lab nurses and technologists. Sandy Watson is our first international editor, based in Bern, Switzerland. He is also the editor of a recently published text created specially for cath lab professionals: Invasive Cardiology: A Manual for Cath Lab Personnel. The discerning eyes of these two professionals alongside the rest of our hard-working and talented editorial board will shape CLD in the best way possible to specifically meet the needs of the cath lab professional (I mean you!). Recently I've been thinking about CLD and how our dedicated readers make their way through it each month. We have been growing. Last year, our April issue was 56 pages this year, we bring you 72 pages of infection control, radiation protection for the pregnant woman and her fetus, a discussion of vulnerable plaque, data from cath labs across the country, industry and clinical news, and more. Enjoy! Rebecca Yospyn Managing Editor Cath Lab Digest cathlabdigest@aol.com
