“Embracing Inclusive Care:” DNA Annual Convention Preview

December 2025

The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is a dynamic, professional nursing organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to quality care through sharing knowledge and expertise. Our members work alongside boardcertified dermatologists in offices, outpatient facilities, hospitals, and specialized dermatology settings caring for patients with numerous dermatologic conditions.

The DNA will be hosting its 44th Annual Convention at the Denver Marriot Tech Center in Denver, CO, March 25–28, 2026, with the theme of “Embracing Inclusive Care.” The focus of the convention is to provide continuing education to nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and other health care professionals and staff who specialize or have an interest in dermatology to promote excellence in dermatologic care. Nursing continuing education is invaluable to improve competencies and enhance professional development, which translates into higher quality care.

The DNA is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Attendees can earn continuing-education hours for the main convention sessions, as well as the nurse practitioner forum sessions, which provide advanced content. Presentations will focus on several educational tracks, including professional development/research, surgical/cutaneous oncology, medical/pediatric dermatology, aesthetics, and pharmacotherapeutics. There will also be hands-on workshops incorporated throughout the program, with the option to attend a dermoscopy or aesthetics workshop. The exhibit schedule has been designed to provide sufficient time for attendees to meet and learn from pharmaceutical and product representatives about new treatments and procedures in dermatology, as well as new products and services. Nursing and commercial posters will be presented in the exhibit hall for review.

Dermatology health care professionals are key to a successful dermatology practice, and staying up to date with the latest technology, treatments, procedures, and medications is crucial to providing evidence-based, quality care. The DNA encourage dermatologists to support their staff in attending the 44th Annual Convention.
