2025 Conference Themes and Priorities

PCMA has highlighted several key themes that will take center stage at this year’s meeting, informed by its latest advocacy and initiatives.
Lowering drug prices: Through its new Lower the List Price campaign, PCMA is calling on brand drug companies to reduce list prices and stop practices that drive affordability challenges for patients.

Curbing patent abuse: With strong support for the bipartisan REMEDY Act and ETHIC Act, PCMA is advocating for reforms that prevent “patent thickets” and other tactics used to delay generic and biosimilar competition.

Expanding access to care: The reintroduction of the Equitable Community Access to Pharmacist Services (ECAPS) Act underscores PCMA’s recognition of pharmacists as critical providers of clinical care, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

Collaboration with policymakers: PCMA continues to support federal actions aimed at lowering prescription drug prices, emphasizing the importance of transparency, competition, and patient-focused reforms.

The PCMA Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity for networking, education, and collaboration among top industry leaders.

As the pharmaceutical landscape faces heightened scrutiny and shifting policy priorities, the 2025 PCMA Annual Meeting will serve as a critical forum for leaders to align on solutions. By fostering collaboration and innovation, PCMA aims to chart a path toward a more affordable, competitive, and patient-centered health care system.
