The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants will host its Annual Summer Dermatology conference June 4 to June 7 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. The comprehensive program includes the latest research, news and exhibits in the field.
The program, planned by Medical Director Whitney High, MD, along with Continuing Medical Education (CME) Chair Lauren Zajac, MHS, PA-C and CME Co-Chair Gina Bird, MPAS, PA-C, is packed with insightful presentations, workshops and opportunities for networking with colleagues.
CME Chair Lauren Zajac notes, “Attendees should be sure to attend several must-see presentations, including Red Where the Sun Don’t Shine (Faculty: Misha Miller, MD), Aging Gracefully (Faculty: Kasey Drapeau D’Amato, PA-C, MPAP), Advances in Melanoma and Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Treatments (Faculty: Scott Dinehart, MD) as well as Dermoscopy and Kodachromes (Clinical Images) workshops. Both of these workshops have availability but are filling up fast,” she says.
“Attending the conference is helpful to expand our knowledge, become familiar with cutting edge treatment options and networking. You never know what opportunities might present themselves from meeting a colleague,” Zajac adds.
