A Case of Phlegmasia Cerulea Dolens with Compartment Syndrome

Introduction: A rare presentation of acute phlegmasia cerulea dolens with pulmonary emboli. Methods: Heparin drip and catheter directed thrombolysis. This ulti- mately failed and patient went on to amputation Results: The presentation should have prompted quicker diagnosis and treatment in order to precent amputation. Discussion: Become more familiar with the rare presentation of the above condition. This can lead to amputation prevention in future pa- tients with this presentation.
