Craving Real Connection? Why Psych Congress Elevate 2026 Is Where Psychiatry Comes Together
Psych Congress Elevate 2026 Co-Chair, Past New & Emerging Voice
Dear Psych Congress Family,
I spend far too much time in front of a computer screen. I find that even in my group private practice, I end up working hours on end in my office without seeing another person. It can start to feel lonely. We all too easily get caught up in a steady rotation of virtual patient appointments, online meetings, checking portal messaging, refilling scripts, completing tasks... and before I know it, half the day has gone by and I haven't opened my door. This is why I’m looking forward to Psych Congress Elevate 2026 in Las Vegas--because I’m craving the real parts of this work again: the hallway hugs, meaningful discussions, the belly laughs, the “wait, tell me what you do when…” conversations, and the kind of connection with colleagues you just can’t replicate on Zoom.
This year is particularly important to attend because the in-person experience will be unparalleled and is where the real value compounds: impactful networking events, career mentorship, and unforgettable community-building.
What Truly Sets Psych Congress Elevate Apart
- High-yield, practical education on a wide variety of topics that you can apply in clinical practice on Monday morning.
- Mentorship and career development. My practice hired two clinicians that I met last year for the first time at Psych Congress Elevate!
- Intentional networking opportunities that are meant to be fun. Get to know the friendly folks from our industry partners to teach you all about current and pipeline therapeutics in psychiatry.
- A vibrant, supportive culture (including community events like game night). Based on my past Elevate conference experiences, the clinicians that attend this conference are truly thoughtful, kind, and open-minded. Plus, the karaoke performances are always on point!
- The New and Emerging Voices Program, elevating the next generation of clinical and thought leadership. This program is particularly special to me because it is exactly how I got my start within Psych Congress as a New and Emerging Voice in 2024.
- Creative and memorable learning. Wow, do we have fun surprises planned for our learners! Kristian Dambrino, DNP, PMHNP-BC, has been working hard on an unforgettable musical performance.
- Fun & loud fashion. Leave your stuffy business suits at home, please! At what other conference will you see psychiatric clinicians walking around in full glitter attire??
Introducing the First-Ever Psych Congress Private Practice Summit
WAIT - there's more! We're launching our first-ever Psych Congress Private Practice Summit as a pre-conference event. If you’re currently in private practice, or even just thinking about starting one, you truly cannot miss this. It’s a one-day, in-person-only experience built for real world practice.
Built for the Realities of Private Practice
We’re bringing in expert speakers on the business side and clinicians like me who live this every day, so you can walk away understanding the parts of private practice no one trains you for, including:
- the administrative realities (workflows, staffing, systems)
- the financial side (sustainability, pricing, revenue, overhead)
- the legal + regulatory landscape (compliance, risk management, contracts)
- the logistics that make or break your day-to-day operations
- the marketing that won't break the bank
- contract negotiations, billing & coding (not the most exciting topics I know, but arguably the most important!)
- what tech and AI to use and how to improve practice efficiency
- and so much more!
The goal of this private practice psychiatry preconference is simple: fewer painful surprises, more confidence, and a roadmap you can actually use. More importantly, it is about meeting fellow private practice clinicians around the country and sharing resources, pain points, and solutions.
A Session That Will Challenge and Stretch You
I am also honored to be leading a session with my longtime LinkedIn friend and now mentee, Miriam Dineen, MMS, PA-C, CAQ-Psych, titled: Behind Closed Doors: Untangling Sex Addiction Myths, Stigma, Science, and Solutions
Plan on attending if you are okay with discomfort. Learning should never be boring!
See You in Las Vegas
I cannot wait to see you in person in Las Vegas. Come find me, say hi, and let us make time for real connection.
Warmly,
Brittany
