Aronberg brings more than four decades of distinguished experience in emergency services, spanning both frontline operations and executive leadership. He began his career as an EMT/paramedic in New York City in 1982 and rose through the ranks of the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY), ultimately serving for 12 years as Assistant Fire Commissioner of Fleet Services. Throughout his 42-year career, Aronberg oversaw one of the nation’s largest municipal emergency vehicle fleets comprising more than 3,000 emergency vehicles while leading key initiatives focused on improving safety, operational efficiency, and apparatus performance.
Widely respected throughout the industry, Aronberg has been recognized for his leadership, technical expertise and unwavering commitment to first responders. His experience extends across operations, fleet management, apparatus design and emergency responses at some of the most significant incidents in modern history. In this role, Aronberg will lead the strategic direction and continued growth of the Rescue 1 brand, spearheading product innovation, expanding market presence and strengthening relationships across the fire and rescue industry.
