EMS World LIVE | Austin + FAST26 Austin: Two Legendary EMS Experiences, One Trip

EMS World Live | Austin logo

If you are looking for an emergency medical services conference that delivers immediate value without pulling you away from the field longer than necessary, EMS World LIVE | Austin was built for you.

As an educator and critical care clinician, I know how quickly EMS practice is evolving. Patient acuity is rising, transport decisions are more complex, and expectations on providers continue to grow. FlightBridgeED’s FAST26 Critical Care Transport Conference is proud to partner with EMS World for the inaugural EMS World LIVE | Austin, May 27-29 in Austin, Texas, meeting EMS realities with education designed to help providers perform better on their next shift. Registration is open, and Early Bird pricing is available through February 6.

Why EMS World LIVE | Austin Matters Now

This meeting was designed as a high-impact spring event that respects the time constraints EMS professionals live with every day. It features impactful, 30-minute sessions and interactive workshops built for clear takeaways.

The goal is simple: Give attendees an education that is relevant and immediately usable.

At EMS World LIVE | Austin, attendees will experience sessions that focus on real problems encountered in prehospital care. Providers are not sitting through theory without application. Participants are learning how to assess faster, intervene more effectively, and make safer decisions under pressure.

One Location, Broader Clinical Perspective

What makes this event so valuable is FlightBridgeED’s FAST26: Austin’s collaboration with the industry-leading EMS World team. Ground EMS providers and critical care transport clinicians rarely learn side by side with flight paramedics, yet patients move between these environments every day.

By bringing these communities together for one event, we are creating shared language, stronger handoffs, and deeper understanding across the continuum of care. Participants will leave with insight into how transport and ICU teams think, which directly improves patient transitions.

Education Designed for Working Providers

EMS World LIVE | Austin is built around focused learning blocks that respect attention and time. Sessions are short, direct, and outcome driven. View the full agenda here.

Benefits of attending:

  • Education designed to translate directly to field decision-making
  • Faculty who actively practice and teach from real experience
  • CAPCE and nursing continuing education credits that support licensure needs

Featured Preconference Workshop

I am proud to teach a workshop on mechanical ventilation because this remains one of the highest-risk skills providers perform:

  • The FlightBridgeED Mechanical Ventilation Workshop
    May 27 | 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
How ventilators work within the realm of patient-centered care, why patients respond the way they do, and how to manage ventilation safely in transport and ICU settings. Participants will leave with a clearer mental model that improves patient safety and clinical confidence.

I look forward to seeing everyone in May! By participating in EMS World LIVE | Austin, providers will leave with practical insights that strengthen confidence and improve patient care.
